Overview
Malamar VMAX has quite low HP [310] among VMAX Pokemon but it has good weakness [Grass] since not many Grass Decks are very popular right now. So, it cannot be OHKO easily from your opponent's attack.
Its only attack, Max Jammer [2 Dark Energy & 1 Colorless Energy] has 180 damage and has an effect of putting 1 card from your opponent's hand and put it on the bottom of their deck. Since you can chose the card to remove from your opponent's hand, you can easily disrupt your opponent's strategy by either making their hand brick or removing any important card. Also, 180 damage from Max Jammer can be used to 2HKO your opponent's VMAX Pokemon.
Control Opponent's Hand
You can enhance your control over your opponent's hand with Marnie. Using Marnie will make your opponent's hand left with 4 cards and then you can use Malamar VMAX attack, Max Riot to remove 1 extra card from your opponent's hand. With 3 cards left in your opponent's hand, it is really hard to continue the game and your opponent will give up the game most of the time unless your opponent's is lucky enough to draw a Supporter like Professor's Research.
Energy Setup
You can use Rose to attach 2 Basic Energy from your discard pile to Malmar VMAX and then attach 1 Energy from your hand to use its attack, Max Riot. But, you have to discard your entire hand after you use Rose. To prevent your hand from getting brick, you can use Kricketune V Ability, Exciting Stage to draw until you have 3 cards in your hand.
Searching Supporter
Since both Rose and Marnie play important roles in this deck, you deck must have a way to search those cards. One way to do is by using both Altaria Ability, Tempting Tune and Oranguru Ability, Primate Wisdom togeter, First, use Tempting Tune to put a Supporter on top of your deck and then use Primate Wisdom to swap that top Supporter with 1 card from your hand. This way, you will always have a Supporter you want in your hand every turn.
Also, if you have less than 3 cards in your hand, you can use Kricketune V Ability to draw the top supporter card after you use Altaria Ability.
